Mark Burnett-led MGM Worldwide Television Group has teamed with designer, stylist and fashion icon Rachel Zoe an international fashion competition series.

The as-yet untitled format will see undiscovered designers from around the world competing to have their creations made available online immediately following each episode.

Zoe (pictured) will serve as host and/or judge of the series. She previously starred in The Rachel Zoe Project for five seasons on Bravo. The series followed her career as a celebrity stylist.

The forthcoming project will be executive produced by Burnett, Zoe and Barry Poznick, as well as Sean Kelly and Steve Hughes of Shaggy Entertainment. It will be produced by MGM Television and internationally distributed by MGM.

The original format was created by Kelly and Hughes through their Shaggy Entertainment, which extended an overall production deal with MGM last month. Since first signing the deal in 2017, the two Shaggy founders have created and executive produced TKO: Total Knock Out with Kevin Hart for CBS. The pair has also set up projects at MGM-owned network Epix and Discovery.

“This is the show I have always wanted to make. The show will spotlight some of the most talented designers from around the world and I am thrilled to be able to highlight their work,” said Zoe in a statement. “I have the utmost respect for Mark Burnett and the team at MGM — this is my dream partnership.”

“I love fashion and have wanted to do a show in this space for quite some time,” added Burnett. “We are thrilled to have Rachel Zoe on board for this epic global fashion showdown that will bring trendsetting designs to your doorstep. Rachel is the epitome of style and fashion.”

No sales or broadcast date have yet been announced.
