NBCUniversal-owned lifestyle network Bravo Media has expanded on its home and design programming with the interior design competition series Best Room Wins.

Produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television’s Shed Media, the series will pit two top interior designers in head-to-head challenges for couples in desperate need of a room make-over.

Designers will apply a design theme from a multi-million-dollar estate to decorate a room that captures their client’s luxury tastes while staying within a US$25,000 budget. A panel of judges will then determine how well the designer’s have executed their rooms to construct a lavish look for less based on three criteria: the overall appeal of the design, how far they were able to stretch their budget and client satisfaction.

The rooms will be judged by host Genevieve Gorder along with Elle Decor editor-in-chief Whitney Robinson and a rotating guest judge, who will award the winning designer with an online feature on ElleDecor.com.

Guest judges this season include such interior designers as Jonathan Adler, Kathryn M. Ireland, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Thom Filicia, Jeff Andrews and Jamie Bush along with Molly Sims, Jason Wu and India Hicks.

Shed Media’s Pamela Healey, Lisa Shannon, Dean Slotar, Lisa Christy-Drusts and Esther Frank┬áserve as executive producers alongside Wall to Wall’s Jeremy Dear.

Best Room Wins premieres May 2 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo Media.
