Discovery Channel has greenlit River Of No Return (w/t), an original series that follows a close-knit community of homesteaders in the isolated and dangerous region of Frank Church Wilderness, Idaho.

Set deep in the backcountry of a space known as “The Frank” lives a small community dependent on the pilots, boat captains and each other, as the navigationally challenging Salmon River provides the only means of transport and access to supplies. Residents of “The Frank” must rely on their own wits, and the help of the neighbours to survive the harsh environment.

River Of No Return is produced for Discovery Channel by Spoke Studios, a Wheelhouse Entertainment company, in association with ITV America and Inspired Entertainment.

Brent Montgomery, Ed Simpson, Joe Weinstock, Will Nothacker, Jason Carey, John Gray and Dirk Gibson serve as executive producers with Sean Stack serving as co-executive producer. For Discovery Channel, Michael Gara is executive producer and Greg Wolf is coordinating producer.
