GoQuest Media sells dance format in Italy
Indie distributor GoQuest Media Ventures has signed a deal with Italian prodco Colorado Film for the dance format My Dance Crew (pictured).
My Dance Crew (8 x 45 minutes) sees eight celebrities joining dance crews who then have eight weeks to shape them into full-fledged crew members.
GoQuest Media Ventures has exclusive worldwide distribution rights for the entertainment format, which originally aired on Norway’s free-to-air television channel TV2.
The deal was made at this year’s MIPTV market in Cannes.
Love Island heads to Hungary
ITV Studios’ and Motion Content Group’s hit relationship format Love Island will launch in Hungary on RTL Klub.
The format, which launched in 2018, sees contestants in a villa in a beautiful location looking for love while trying to win over the audience, who may vote them off the show until the “hottest couple” is crowned at the conclusion.
Love Island Hungary will be produced by Paprika. In addition to Hungary, the show will debut in the U.S. (CBS), Belgium (SBS), Holland (RTL) Poland (Polsat) and New Zealand (Three) in 2019.
Meanwhile, MTV3 will bring Love Island back for a second season in Finland. It will also return for a fifth season in the UK on ITV2, a second season in both Australia and Sweden on Nine and TV4, respectively, and a third season in Germany on RTL II.
Gusto TV available on Pluto TV in the UK
Ottawa-based Gusto Worldwide Media’s food channel Gusto TV is now streaming in the UK on ad-supported streaming site Pluto TV.
Gusto content was previously available on Pluto’s U.S. and UK platforms, but the new deal sees Gusto TV offered as a branded channel.
Series titles now available on the channel to British audiences include Fish the Dish, The Urban Vegetarian, The Latin Kitchen, Bonacini’s Italy, Flour Power, Spencer’s BIG 30, Crate to Plate, One World Kitchen and License to Grill.
