Fremantle takes Notre-Dame: In Flames rights

Fremantle has acquired the international distribution rights to Notre-Dame: In Flames, a one-hour docuspecial about the fire that destroyed parts of the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris last month.

The special was originally produced by STP Productions and has been reversioned by TV Presse, a division of Fremantle’s French production arm.

Poland takes The Conflict

Polish prodco Rochstar has picked up the local rights to Armoza Formats’ The Conflict (pictured).

Created by Eran B.Y and Armoza Formats, the first-of-its-kind social experiment series sees two well-known actors reenact a conflict between two real people, dramatizing a pivotal moment in an ongoing feud. The actors spend time with their respective counterparts to then offer a new perspective on the underlying tension.

NBCUniversal, CTC partner on Russian Celebrity Game Night

NBCUniversal International Formats has partnered with Russian broadcaster CTC on a local version of Hollywood Game Night.

Produced by M.I.R., the 12 x 60-minute local version will be titled Celebrity Game Night and will air on CTC in the fall.

The original format was co-created by actor/producer Sean Hayes, producer Todd Milliner and Mission Control Media for NBC and sees celebrities playing various party games.

The Russian version will be the 21st local adaptation of the format, which has already been produced in the UK, Sweden, France, Spain, Turkey, French Canada and across Eastern Europe.
