True crime network Investigation Discovery is heading to the Lone Star State with an upcoming series produced by Jarrett Creative.

The 6 x 60-minute Lone Star Justice features Smith County, Texas, Sheriff J.B. Smith and his handpicked team of detectives – Pamela Dunklin and Joe Rasco – as they recount their most memorable cases, including the 2010 murder of Amanda Anderson and the 2002 beating death of Jeff Joplin.

Each episode of the series focuses on a different case that occurred within the team’s county, retracing the crime scene, the evidence, and bringing the killer to justice. The detectives walk audiences through the case with the help of in-depth interviews from victims’ friends and family, detailed recreations, news media, and other law enforcement.

Executive producers on the series are Seth Jarrett, Julie Insogna-Jarrett and David Konschnik. For Investigation Discovery, Ron Simon is senior executive producer, Sara Kozak is SVP of production, Kevin Bennett is GM, and Henry S. Schleiff is group president of Investigation Discovery, Travel Channel, American Heroes Channel and Destination America.

Lone Star Justice premieres June 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ID.
