Former Channel 4 exec Gill Wilson is joining BBC Studios-backed Amazing Productions as chief creative officer this coming June.

For the last year, Wilson has been consulting for UK pubcaster Channel 4 on the nations and regions, and prior to that had held the post as head of features and daytime at C4 for seven years. Her department was responsible for commissioning such titles as The Supervet, Love It or List It, Escape to the Chateau, Great Canal Journeys, and more.

The London- and Brighton-based Amazing Productions was created in 2014 by owners George ClarkeRebecca MulraineMichael SimkinTania Fallon and BBC Studios.

The production company has produced numerous series, including Bang On Budget for Channel 4 daytime and is currently in production on Island Prison (working title), their first title for ITV. New commissions include the Channel 4 series Project Home and Council House 100 (w/t), which marks the birth of the council house.
