Oxygen Media, the Comcast-NBCUniversal-owned true crime multi-platform network for women, is to chronicle premeditated crimes made my medical practitioners in its latest investigative series License to Kill.

As previously announced, the Shed Media-produced series documents the real-life accounts of patients put in harm’s way by “medical professionals’ insidious use of their expertise.”

Hosted by plastic surgeon and television personality Dr. Terry Dubrow of Botched fame, the series is told from the perspective of victims, families, colleagues and law enforcement officials, and takes viewers inside the killers’ minds, and inside the bodies of the victims, utilizing signature forensic animation.

License to Kill additionally recounts how authorities were finally able to stop these medical professionals’ malpractice before they were able to seriously injure or kill another.

Shed Media’s Pamela Healey, Dan Peirson, Adam Kassen, Haylee Vance, Dave Kuba and Terry Dubrow serve as executive producers on the series.

License to Kill premieres June 23 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on Oxygen.
