Facebook Watch orders more 9 Months with Courteney Cox

Friends and Cougar Town star Courteney Cox (pictured) is set to return to digital platform Facebook Watch for a new season of social experiment 9 Months with Courteney Cox.

The docuseries provides an intimate look into Americans of various race, religion, and class as they self-document their nine-month journey through pregnancy. Cox will continue to narrate and provide commentary throughout season two.

The series is produced by Ample Entertainment in partnership with Cox’s Hopper Productions. Executive producers include Ample’s Ari Mark and Phil Lott alongside Cox.

DocuBay, Ananda Media ink license deal

Premium international documentary streaming service DocuBay has secured a license deal with French distributor Ananda Media.

Under the deal, DocuBay will acquire a package of adventure travel and action sports content from Ananda, available for streaming on DocuBay when the service rolls out globally this August.

Acquired titles include feature documentary Sea Gypsies: The Far Side of the World, about a crew of miscreants sailing on a 120-foot hand-built sailboat from New Zealand to Patagonia; feature doc Food Patriots, which chronicles a family’s attempt to shift from processed foods to local and organic options; Vertical Belles, profiling an all-female aerial silks group; and documentary El Boxeo, which chronicles the emergence of Latinos in boxing.

DocuBay has also picked up 4K titles environmental doc Una – The One, travel adventure film The British Backpacker Society: Across the Sahara, and the Keegan Kuhn-directed feature-length Running For Good: The Fiona Oakes Documentary, which chronicles world record marathon runner Fiona Oakes in her attempt to set a new global record in endurance racing.
