Food Network personality Giada De Laurentiis is renewing her contract with the Discovery-owned network. The multi-year deal locks down the popular host for primetime, daytime and cross-platform projects.

The agreement includes development of new episodes for Giada Entertains, returning in 2020, as well as for seasonal series Giada’s Holiday Handbook and Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge. Pre-production is currently underway for the holiday-themed specials, which are slated to premiere in Q4.

De Laurentiis will also be featured in short-form video content.

The Emmy award-winning personality has been part of the network since her first series, Everyday Italian, in which she showcased Italian dishes. She has also co-hosted primetime competition show Food Network Star and hosted Winner Cake All, among other holiday specials and guest appearances.

“Giada De Laurentiis is a culinary icon and a Food Network fan-favorite whose recipes and entertaining guidance are a must-have for home cooks everywhere looking to elevate their own gatherings and celebrations,” said Food Network president Courtney White in a statement. “We are excited to serve up even more entertaining and inspiring hours with Giada for seasons to come.”
