Netflix has released the official trailer and set the air date for director Davis Guggenheim’s three-part docuseries Inside Bill’s Brain: Decoding Bill Gates.

Slated to debut Sept. 20 on the streamer, Inside Bill’s Brain explores the mind and motivations of the Microsoft founder, business magnate and philanthropist.

The series chronicles Gates’ (pictured left) life journey, including triumphs and setbacks, and documents his pursuit of “unique solutions to some of the world’s most complex problems,” according to a release from Netflix.

Guggenheim (right) – the Oscar-winning director of An Inconvenient Truth and He Named Me Malala - interweaves Gates’ professional endeavors with personal moments, including interviews with wife Melinda Gates and the duo’s friends, family and partners in philanthropy and business.

Inside Bill’s Brain: Decoding Bill Gates is executive produced by Guggenheim. Co-executive producers are Beth Osisek of Venice, California-based prodco Concordia Studio and Steven Leckart, a freelance writer, director and showrunner.
