Paramount Network is slated to debut its competition series Battle of the Fittest Couples this fall from Los Angeles-based non-scripted prodco 51 Minds.

The series puts 12 “ripped couples” through an intense competition that tests physical and mental toughness, as well as how each pair works as a team.

Couples that lose are put up for elimination, while the winning couple chooses their next competitors in the “Rage Cage.”

In the end, only one duo will win US$100,000 and be name “Fittest Couple.”

JoJo Fletcher (pictured left), former star on The Bachelorette, and former NFL quarterback Jordan Rodgers (right) serve as hosts.

Battle of the Fittest Couples adds to Paramount Network’s roster of unscripted series, which also includes Wife Swap, Ink Master, Ink Master: Grudge Match, Bar Rescue, Marriage Rescue and Lip Sync Battle.

Christina Sarabia, Nicole Elliott, Keith Geller and Steve Kaufman serve as executive producers for 51 Minds. Paramount Network’s Tori Socha is the series executive in charge of production.

The series debuts on the Viacom-owned American pay-TV channel on Oct. 5 at 11 p.m. ET/PT.
