Global indie producer-distributor All3Media has launched its latest production label, Angelica Films, to be led by Field Day Productions creative director Sally Angel.

The prodco will focus on premium factual, specialist factual and documentaries for the UK and international broadcasters and platforms.

“The Angelica team is thrilled to have found a home at All3 and excited about bringing our creative storytelling to the table,” Angel (pictured) said in a statement. “Although it’s early days for Angelica, we are delighted to already have two projects in paid development.”

At Field Day Productions, Angel produced the BBC2 series Tea With The Dames, directed by Roger Mitchell; the Channel 4 documentary Inside The American Embassy; and the short form program Missed Call, a co-production with All3Media’s Little Dot Studios and Royal Holloway University’s Media Arts Department.

The news follows recent deals by London-headquartered All3Media, including a multi-year partnership with Relevé Entertainment and the launch of an original content development fund partnership with Cinetic Media.

All3Media’s network of 30 production, distribution and digital media companies produce scripted, factual, entertainment, children’s, sports and digital content for broadcasters and digital platforms globally.
