Dancing On Ice to be adapted for Dutch market

ITV Studios’ Dancing On Ice (pictured) has been commissioned by Dutch commercial TV channel SBS6, following a deal with ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

The Dutch version of the format will launch Dec. 7, with host Winston Gerschtanowitz.

The format sees celebrities paired with professional ice skaters to train and then face off against each other in ice dancing competitions.

The new adaptation of Dancing On Ice is produced by ITV-owned Talpa Productions.

Quintus pre-sells German docuseries

International distribution and media agency Quintus Media has signed a raft of deals for factual docs produced by German factual specialist Maximus Film GmbH.

The company has partnered with A+E Networks UK, Polsat Play in Poland, Prima ZOOM in the Czech Republic, N24 in German speaking Europe and RMC Decouverte in France for the second season of Mega Transports (6 x 60 minutes).

Elsewhere, Quintus has pre-sold the crime docuseries No-Go Zones – The World’s Toughest Places (6 x 60 minutes) to n-tv in Germany, Discovery Latin America and US Hispanic, and Discovery En Español.

Finally, Mega Manufacturing (6 x 48 minutes) will go to N24, RMC Decouverte and Discovery Southern Europe.
