Discovery-owned pay TV channel TLC is set to premiere the nine-part series My Feet Are Killing Me, which follows podiatrists and surgeons Ebonie Vincent and Brad Schaeffer.

The medical transformation show from Entertainment One-owned Renegade 83 will see California-based Vincent (pictured right) and Philadelphia-based Schaeffer (left) juggle cases such as wart clusters, fungus, toe amputations and foot reconstructions.

Each hour-long episode follows three patients who turn to the doctors to fix their unusual foot conditions, including a paranormal romance novelist who hopes to get her sixth toe amputated, an athlete with dramatically different sized feet, a nudist with severe fungus and a toddler born with 12 toes, among others.

“It was clear, following the debut of Dr. Pimple Popper, that our audience was craving even more powerful and heartwarming stories of medical transformation,” Howard Lee, president and general manager of TLC, said in a statement. “As with all series in TLC’s popular medical genre, we bring viewers along on emotional rollercoaster journeys through to their uplifting conclusions.”

My Feet Are Killing Me premieres Jan. 2 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
