Keshet International has tapped Greenbird co-managing directors Jamie Munro and Stuart Mullin to head up the global producer-distributor’s UK operations.

The decision comes nearly a year after the company struck a deal to acquire a majority stake in Greenbird, the indie producer incubator founded by Mullin and Munro in 2012.

Keshet Productions, KI’s UK production arm, will relocate from Camden to Greenbird’s London offices, bringing all the company’s UK operations under one roof.

The production outfit, which develops, produces and co-produces scripted and non-scripted content, is headed by Howard Burch, MD of scripted, and David Williams, MD of non-scripted. Jamie Ormerod serves as director of development for non-scripted.

“Keshet Productions is going from strength to strength, and this move ensures Howard and David’s teams have the support they need to build on recent successes so that British productions can play an increasing role in the next stage of KI’s growth,” KI CEO Alon Shtruzman said in a statement.

Mullin and Munro will take on the role when Sammy Nourmand departs at the end of this year.

Recent commissions by KI’s UK operations include the ITV2 dating reality show Singletown; DIY series Craft Party for CBBC; and Speed Freaks, which sees a team of mechanics attempt to break a British land speed record, for ITV4.

Following the acquisition in March 2018, KI now distributes many of the shows produced by some of the British independent production companies within Greenbird’s stable.
