Inside the Mind of Agatha Christie to premiere on C5

UK commercial broadcaster Channel 5 is set to premiere a one-hour doc on Agatha Christie from London-based indie Knickerbockerglory.

Inside the Mind of Agatha Christie (pictured) offers access to the author’s personal notebooks, letters and diaries as well as never-before-seen documents. The doc includes a rare interview with the writer’s grandson, Mathew Pritchard, and great grandson, James, as well as screenwriter Sarah Phelps, biographer Laura Thomas and author John Curran.

Natalie von Hurter serves as EP on the project.

Additionally, specialist factual distributor Silverlining has pre-sold Inside the Mind of Agatha Christie to TV4 Sweden and TV2 Denmark.

The doc premieres Dec. 15 at 8 p.m. on Channel 5.

The 52-minute program is produced in-house and co-produced with GRIFA Filmes (Brazil) for ARTE France, and will be delivered in Fall 2020.

Meanwhile, Decoding Saqqara: The Secret Hieroglyphs of the Pyramid uses cutting-edge technology on the first expedition into the pyramid of pharaoh Pepi II in 90 years.
