Pens are poised to ink a deal that will see French media group Pathe scoop up a 30% stake in Histoire, a history theme channel based in Paris. The proposed transaction has Pathe acquiring 20% from Finances et Communication (a risk capital fund), with the remaining 10% coming from a capital increase. If the deal goes through, France Telecom, Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux, Pathe and the public holding company helmed by France Television will all share ownership of Histoire.
