All Roads Film Festival
As a component of the All Roads Film Project – a Nat Geo initiative that gives indigenous and under-represented minority-culture filmmakers, photographers and artists from around the world a global platform – comes the third annual All Roads Film Festival. Taking place from September 28 to October 1 in LA, the festival will screen docs, shorts and animation, as well host panel discussions with filmmakers.

Taking place in Tenerife in Spain’s Canary Islands, DOCUSUR, the International Southern Documentary Film Festival, will be held from October 22 to 29. Up for grabs in the International Competition is a €10,000 award for best full-length doc, and €6,000 for best short doc. Also part of the event is the DOCUSUR Market and its pitching sessions, where docs in the development or scriptwriting stage have a chance to secure funding from an international panel of CEs.
