Jean Cressant, now former manager of international documentary market Sunny Side of the Doc, recently sent out a press release announcing his resignation, citing a 'major disagreement' with commissioner general Yves Jeanneau as the cause. The disagreement over the governance of Doc Services - the company that organizes Sunny Side - ends Cressant's six-year tenure at the market. The announcement also reminds us that Cressant's appointment as manager came as the result of another disagreement between previous manager Dominique Germain and Jeanneau in 2005.
