Skin strikes chord with Oprah

Skin, which just had its North American debut at TIFF, has sold to a number of outlets and has triggered interest from Oprah Winfrey. The film, which is based on the story Sandra Laing, a black girl born to white parents, has concluded deals for distribution with UGCPH in France, Spentzos Film in Greece, Nordisk in Scandinavia, Front Row in the Middle East and European Film Partners in the Benelux.
