International Emmys for news and current affairs announced

The 2008 International Emmy Award winners for the News and Current Affairs categories have been announced and the top winners are Pro-TV News Romania for news and the Netherlands' Peter R. de Vries undercover investigation on the disappearance of Natalee Holloway for current affairs. The former is the first news Emmy for Eastern Europe. The latter was produced by SBS Broadcasting B.V. and Endemol Entertainment. For more information see the release.
