White Pine Pictures picks up two Geminis

Canadian independent film and television production company White Pine Pictures will pick up two more awards for the film A Promise to the Dead: The Exile Journey of Ariel Dorfman at the Gemini Awards on October 21. The Gemini's honor excellence in Canadian English-language television productions and will award White Pine's productions with the Donald Brittain Award for Best Social/Political Documentary Program for Peter Raymont and Best Original Music Score for a Documentary Program or Series for composer Mark Korven.
