Lionsgate to buy TV Guide properties

Media company Lionsgate is the proud new owner of TV Guide Network and TVGuide.com, just three weeks after One Equity Partners purchased the TV Guide brands. Reports say that Lionsgate bought the properties from tech firm Macrovision for an estimated US$255 million. Lionsgate will now have access to the 83 million homes that can view the TV Guide Network.

Reports say that Lionsgate bought the properties from tech firm Macrovision for an estimated US$255 million.
