Female Eye Film Festival unveils program

The only independent film festival dedicated to women filmmakers in Ontario, Canada, the Female Eye Film Festival, has revealed its 2009 program, which includes feature documentaries and doc shorts like Dirt, She Should Have Gone to the Moon and What I See When I Close My Eyes. Additionally, the first annual Female Eye Maverick Award will go to Linda Schuyler, who was co-creator and executive producer of the popular Degrassi series. The doc MTV Presents: Degrassi in Kenya will be screened to celebrate.
