Darlow Smithson creating Stephen Hawking doc for Discovery

Discovery Channel has commissioned Darlow Smithson to create three-part documentary series, Stephen Hawking's Universe (w/t), for worldwide broadcast. In collaboration with Hawking, the 1 x 120-minute and 2 x 1-hour series will offer a fresh look at the mysteries of the cosmos. Additionally, Discovery Enterprises International will partner with other broadcasters around the world to bring the series to wider audiences. The series is to premiere in 2010.
