Discovery secures European programming blocks

Discovery Enterprises International has brokered a number of deals with European broadcasters for programming blocks of Discovery content. German commercial channel kabel eins, has renewed its Discovery Channel block agreement, called 'K1 Discovery' through 2009, and Poland's TV4 block '4 Discovery' has also been renewed. Croatia's RTL has signed a new program block agreement with the broadcaster, as well as Digital channel Barrandov TV.
