Doc filmmaker Nanette Burstein (pictured) has signed a multi-project deal with RDF USA which will see her developing and producing unscripted series for the studio.

‘Nanette is an incredible filmmaker – she earns the trust of her subjects, telling compelling stories with a unique sense of style,’ said Lauren Gellert, Senior Vice President for RDF USA. Gellert will be developing the series while Burstein, Gellert and CEO Chris Coelen will executive produce all the projects.

‘What RDF and I both bring to the table makes for a perfect partnership – we are already off to a great start, developing original and unique ideas for the unscripted space,’ said Burstein.

Burstein has an existing relationship with RDF USA’s CEO Chris Coelen, who was previously on Burstein’s team of agents when he was at United Talent Agency. Burstein’s previous television work includes Film School for IFC, NY77 for VH1 and Autobiography for AMC.
