Myers to head Science & Emerging Networks

Discovery Communications announces that Deborah Adler Myers has been promoted to GM of Science Channel and EVP of Discovery Emerging Networks. Myers has been with Discovery Emerging Networks since March 2008 where she made development and programming deals with the likes of Morgan Freeman and Whoopi Goldberg while also bringing in new faces to Investigation Discovery. In her new positions Myers will be responsible for development, production, scheduling, research, marketing and communications for Science and will continue to oversee programming and development for Investigation Discovery, Military Channel and HD Theater.
