NHK Educational Corporation (NED), a subsidiary of NHK, is building ties with Botswana by signing an agreement with its government to create an educational television service. NED is helping to develop and organize programs, and assisting in the running of satellite-based remote education. The Botswana Educational Television service is set to air in October 2010.
