Baichwal to direct doc based on Margaret Atwood’s ‘Payback’

The National Film Board of Canada has announced through its blog (www.blog.nfb.ca) that it has recently optioned the film rights for Margaret Atwood's recent non-fiction book Payback: Debt and the Shadow Side of Wealth. The film, now just entering the development stage, will be directed by Jennifer Baichwal (Manufactured Landscapes, Act of God) and produced by Ravida Din (Family Motel).
