BBC producing series on Canadian history in BC

The British Columbia town of Tofino has been scouted for a BBC documentary series called Northern Wilderness, a six-part doc that focuses on the more rugged aspects of Canadian history. The final installment of the series will focus on the West Coast, for which the town was scouted as a locale to showcase. The series will likely air in the fall and will be hosted by wilderness enthusiast Ray Mears.
