Lifetime coming to AETN family?

Broadcasting & Cable has reported that Disney-ABC Television, NBC Universal and the Hearst Corp., joint owners of A&E Television Networks (AETN), are looking at adding female-skewing cable net Lifetime to the AETN family. AETN includes under its umbrella History, Bio and the flagship A&E channel, with Hearst and Disney-ABC owning 37.5% each, and NBC Universal owning the remaining 25%. Interestingly, Lifetime, a 50-50 JV between Disney and Hearst, is now home to the hit Project Runway, which left NBC Universal-owned Bravo last year in a hotly-contested legal battle. A source in the story says a deal could be completed within the month.
