Kinosmith and Hot Docs establish DVD distribution partnership

Canadian distribution company Kinosmith and the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Film Festival have established a new partnership incorporating DVD releases of popular Hot Docs-featured films and other docs chosen by the fest's programmers. 'The Hot Docs Collection' launches July 28 with the DVD releases of RiP: A Remix Manifesto and FLicKeR. Among other upcoming releases are Burma VJ (November 24) and H2OIL (2010). DVDs will be available through Kinosmith's http://www.kinosmith.com/'>website, through Hot Docs' marketing initiatives and assorted retail partners and media outlets.
