Endemol launches Whole 19 Yards format in Spain

Endemol will launch the first European version of its global game show format The Whole 19 Yards this week via Spanish broadcaster Antena 3. Endemol Spain has been commissioned by leading the broadcaster to produce a first series of six episodes. The show will be known locally as Los Ultimos 20 Metros. The program, originally developed by Endemol UK is also being piloted for CBS in the U.S. Its twist on the standard game show format? Players guess answers for questions much like any quiz show, but are separated by the buzzers they're supposed to ring by 19 yards of obstacles.
