Nordisk launching new docu-reality format at MIPCOM

Scandinavian distributor Nordisk Film TV World will present its new 5 x 1 hour primetime docu-reality format, Circle of Life, at this year's MIPCOM. The series follows four families as they go through life's major milestones: birth, marriage, divorce and last (but not least), death. Conceived by Danish broadcaster DR, the series was shot over the course of a year in four different Denmark locations. Nordisk Film TV World is also bringing My Fat Parents (10-12 x 1 hour) to the market. The series features several sets of overweight parents facing off against each other in a weight-loss challenge, where the winning family can receive up to €300 per kilo, to be put into their children's savings accounts.
