Storm Surfers 2 gets greenlight

Screen Australia and Screen NSW have given the greenlight to Storm Surfers 2 - New Zealand. The one hour doc, produced by Australian production company 6ixty Foot Films for Discovery Networks Asia, will follow surfing legends Ross Clarke-Jones and Tom Carroll as they head to the south island of New Zealand and attempt to surf huge waves created by storms. While the doc is slated to air in 2010, the producers have raised additional financing to produce a series of 15X3 min. micro-documentaries following the crew and cast that will be uploaded during production and post-production.
