Endemol Middle East appoints head of production and fiction

International production powerhouse Endemol has hired Lara Haddad as head of production and fiction for its Middle East operations. Reporting to managing director Ziad Kebbi and creative director Dany Karam, Haddad will be based out of the company's offices in Dubai and Beirut. Her responsibilities will include developing drama output as well as building Endemol Middle East's non-fiction business. Haddad has seven years of experience in the Mid East TV market, most recently working as an international consultant. 'She is a highly regarded executive in the Middle East and she will be a central part of our team as we look to move into new genres such as drama and further expand our business in non scripted output,' said Kebbi.
