Documentary Campus film receives first Emmy nod

Karin C. Falck and Loui Bernal's documentary, Birth of a Surgeon, has earned the distinction of the first Emmy nomination for a Documentary Campus Masterschool production. The film, developed at the Masterschool in 2006, is up for the Outstanding Continuing Coverage of a News Story - Long Form award, and will learn its fate on September 21 at the 30th Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards.
