From the team that brought us The Human Spider, 2007′s MIPCOM Picks Best in Show, comes a five-part series exploring the exploits of several other individuals who choose to risk life and limb for the adrenalin rush that accompanies their incredible adventures. Here you’ll see a man attempt to walk across one of the world’s highest canyons on a slim rope (without safety harness, of course – that would be cheating), a shorts-and-sandals clad marathon runner whose course is just north of the Arctic Circle, the Teflon-suited Human Bird as he flies from the peaks of the Matterhorn, and yes, the return of the Human Spider. Breathtaking vantage points and stunts that defy logic as well as gravity make this series a must-see. Just don’t try this stuff at home, okay?
Partners: Firecracker Films (London/Santa Monica), distributed through RDF Rights (London)

Airing: September 2009 (Channel 4)
Length: 5 x 60 minutes

Rights available: All international rights
