Montreal's Festival du Nouveau Cinema, which runs from October 7 to 18, features many doc titles such as Behind Jim Jarmusch, PilgrIMAGE, Visionnaires Planétaires, and Rapping With Shakespeare. The first full day of the festival, October 8, kicks off with a screening of Taqwacore: The Birth of Punk Islam by Omar Majeed and EyeSteelFilm, which opens the festival's Temps ø section of the fest.
