Parthenon appoints head of factual

UK-based Parthenon Entertainment has announced the appointment of Richard Sattin as its head of factual. The appointment follows recent commissions for Parthenon from FIVE, The Lost Symbol: Truth or Fiction, and Mystery Files for NGCI, both produced for Parthenon by Sattin. He will be developing new factual programming and supervising documentary production within the company's production division, headed up by Danny Tipping. Sattin previously held posts as managing director at Principal Films and head of documentaries at Darlow Smithson, and is the creator of the programs Hardcore (Channel 4), Connections (TLC), Concorde (BBC) and Gunpowder Plot (ITV).
