Tinopolis Group acquires Pioneer Productions

One of the UK's leading independent media producers, Tinopolis Group, has purchased factual UK prodco Pioneer Productions. The acquisition sees Pioneer joining Tinopolis' current roster of production companies, including Mentorn Media, Daybreak Pictures, Fiction Factory, POP 1 and Sunset + Vine. Under the agreement, Stuart Carter will remain MD at Pioneer, while Jeremy Dear stays on as head of development, Kirstie McLure as head of production and Peter Dunkerley as head of finance. Pioneer will also retain its name and continue to create programs across the key genres of science, history, adventure, lifestyle and drama-docs.
