MTV Networks acquires ‘This Is It’

MTV Networks has the exclusive television rights to the Michael Jackson concert documentary This Is It. The doc, which claimed the number one spot at the box office when it premiered in October, will be available to MTV Networks and all of its umbrella companies - VH1, MTV, BET, CENTRIC - in 2011 for a six-year window. Additionally, MTV Networks will collaborate with Sony Pictures Entertainment in marketing the DVD release of the film in early 2010.

MTV Networks has the exclusive television rights to the Michael Jackson concert documentary This Is It.
