Tricon boosts its presence in Asia

Toronto-based producer and distributor Tricon Films & Television has a raft of sales to announce going into its first Asia Television Forum. Food series in Tricon's catalog were quite popular, with Crash My Kitchen picked up by Discovery Communications Asia, series two of Fresh with Anna Olson and season seven of Restaurant Makeover being acquired by Asian Food Channel. Wowow Inc in Japan has taken fashion-oriented program Cover Stories and AETN has bought documentary series Original Kin. At ATF, Tricon will also have lifestyle series Family Renovation (13 X 30) and brand new food program Bitchin' Kitchen (13 X 30).
