IDFA to welcome recently release Newsweek reporter Maziar Bahari

IDFA has arranged a discussion on November 22 with Iranian journalist and filmmaker Maziar Bahari, who was arrested and imprisoned in Tehran, and was recently released. He was reporting on the Iranian elections at the time of his imprisonment, which lasted almost four months. Bahari will be talking about his recent experiences and the current situation in Iran. Bahari has made at least 10 documentaries and in 2007, compiled IDFA's Top 10 and gave a master class, during which he spoke extensively about censorship in Iran.
