BBC World News America wins Business and Financial Emmy

BBC World News America claimed an Emmy Award for Business and Financial Reporting for Return to White Horse Village in the category 'Outstanding Interpretation or Analysis of a Business News Story in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast'. In the program, a follow up to last year's Peabody award-winning White Horse Village, the BBC's Carrie Gracie sees how urbanization has affected a Chinese farming village. BBC World News America received two other nominations for Tokyo in the Downturn and China Rising and earlier this year received three nominations at the News & Documentary Emmy Awards. Return to White Horse Village was co-commissioned by BBC World News America and Newsnight.
