NHNZ makes internal promotions

New Zealand-based prodco NHNZ has made promotions within its team, rather than look offshore for talent, says NHNZ's managing director Michael Stedman in a release. NHNZ executive producer Andrew Waterworth has been promoted to the newly created role of head of production. Waterworth has been with the company since 2000 and has 30 years of TV industry experience. He will continue to executive produce a number of programs. Additionally, NHNZ series producers Judith Curran and John Hyde have been promoted to the ranks of executive producers. Curran has been with the company since 2001, and has been the driving force between such fare as Orangutan Island for Animal Planet. Hyde has more than 30 years of filmmaking experience and has worked at NHNZ as an editor, producer, and director for a variety of natural history, adventure and science programs.
