‘The Cove’ gets TV debut on Animal Planet

The Cove is set to make its free television debut on Animal Planet after it airs on the pay TV Epix multiplatform network operated by Lionsgate, Viacom and MGM. The acclaimed documentary, directed by Louie Psihoyos, puts an Ocean's 11 caper spin on a horrifying practice carried out on dolphins in Taiji, Japan. Animal Planet will air the film in summer 2010.
