ITN Source's Ian CheeWah passed away suddenly on January 16. He was ITN Source's managing director of North American business since 2008, and prior to that was at Sapient for 12 years, from 1995 to 2007. He passed away in New York City, at the age of 44.

ITN Source’s Ian CheeWah passed away suddenly on January 16. He was the company’s managing director of North American business since 2008, and prior to that was Media Executive for Digital Projects with Associated Press, and VP General Manager for Sapient for 12 years, working in New York and London, spearheading business development initiatives and technology development. He passed away in New York City, at the age of 44. ”An enthusiastic visionary’ were words often used to describe Ian, who was much beloved by his staff and colleagues at ITN, bringing with him a true zest for life,’ said ITN Source in an obituary statement released to realscreen. ‘He established ITN Source as an important footage supplier in the US market, servicing the broadcast, film, education and other sectors.’
